Dr. and Mrs. Richard Erenstone of Lake Placid are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Brook, to Mr. Taylor Phillips on October 4, 2014. The wedding took place at the Mountain House in Keene, New York in the presence of beautiful fall colors as well as many friends and relatives.
Brook grew up in Lake Placid, New York and graduated from Northwood School in 1999. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maine in 2004 and a Masters of Special Education degree from Hunter College in 2012.
Taylor is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Phillips of Lubec, Maine and Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He graduated from Mercersburg Academy in Mercersburg, Pennsylvania in 1998 and Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida in 2002 . He holds a degree in Environmental Studies and Environmental Philosophy.
Brook and Taylor Phillips will return to their home in Jackson, Wyoming with their dog Yakone after a honeymoon in the form of a raft trip down the Grand Canyon. Taylor owns a guide service in Jackson Hole called Ecotour Adventures and Brook works for the State of Wyoming as a rehabilitation teacher for the visually impaired.
Brook and Taylor both enjoy the outdoors including skiing, rafting, hiking, climbing and photography.
